In passing

It's been a dull and grey today; the sun remained absent.  Consequently, weak light, poor contrast.  I managed this passing shot of Vera Mukhina's magnificent statue of "Worker and Kolkhoz Woman".  This is what it looked like at its original showing at the World's Fair in Paris in 1937.

It's a great photo subject from varying angles and in varying light.  Amazed to see I've blipped it only once previously - on 2 January 2014.
