Beneath Biscay

So much for the photos

Yesterday, straight after the celebratory 'Reyes' lunch with family, we headed off for La Coruña to take daughter C back to college. We dropped her off at her flat and checked in to our usual hotel. We were planning to stay until the weekend and I was planning to do some photography.

Today we went round to her flat where a few chores awaited me, but I spent lunchtime performing emergency origami to get my daughter's A2 technical drawings folded to A3 size for presentation. She'd worked hard on over a dozen pages of technical designs over the holidays but only found out at the last minute that whilst correctly drawn on A2 paper they were required to be presented as A3, but with the title block description in the bottom right corner still showing after folding. So it was head down for 90 minutes , measuring and folding, finishing just in time for her to go off to class and hand it in by the deadline.

As for the photography, it rained all day so I didn't want to carry my camera equipment around and had to rely on my phone. All my snaps turned out pretty useless, so I've had to settle for one of my final coffee before retiring to the hotel, on a wet and windy terrace.
