Roma Day #2 - The Colosseum

We took the long way to the Colosseum today.
We went into two churches at the Quattro Fontane
We saw the Piazza del Quirinale - changing of the guards - nowhere near as much pomp as there is at Buckingham Palace!
Down through the Forum Area to the Colosseum (pictured here)
Saw the Arch of Constantine
Church of Bonaventure (where we had a pickpocket attempt - foiled, fortunately!)
St Francis Church (where we saw the remains of St Francis)
We braved a supermarket near the Unknown Soldier (Mr B needed more beer and I wanted some fruit)
Back to the hotel for a relax and recharge (oh, and a spot of photo processing!)
Mass at St Maria del Angelis and Martyrs for the Epiphany
Followed by ice cream
I tried on some more boots - no go
Back to the hotel for some much needed sleep.
