This Sweet Chariot Swung Too Low :(

As my daughter swung her Honda S2000 into a gated community where her daughter's friend lives she noticed a piece of the gate mechanism protruding from ground level. She was concerned as her car is lowered and has a special exhaust but she negotiated it without issue on the way in. When she carefully left it unfortunately snagged her exhaust. The damage doesn't look that bad in my pic but it is too distorted to be repaired. The tail pipes have been displaced and have melted the bumper.

We took it to Solid Fabrications in Orpington today and the guy there is going to custom build one for her to a similar spec. She wants the aural pleasure but it must not be too loud. It must pass the 105 dB limit at Spa Francorchamps, her favourite circuit. He is going to make it hang higher and incorporate an anti-drone pipe. We're excited as we are picking it up next weekend.

It was lovely to spend time together playing cars like we used to. We don't get the chance very often these days. When we arrived in our two S2000s someone said, "Here come the girl racers." Lol at 'girl.'
