The ORNC

The Thanes was at high tide as I took my favourite walk along it this lunchtime.

I stopped at the Royal Gates of the Old Royal Naval College to enjoy the spectacular buildings

To the left of my blip is the Chapel and to my left the Painted Hall. In the mid background is The Queens House and just visible at the top of the hill is The Royal Observatory.

I almost got wet as the river water came up over the path but I avoided the waves caused by the wash of vessels using the river.

I'm very lucky compared to many of my fellow countrymen in the north. No floods here
