Helping in the garden

We had a slow start to the morning - which consisted of pancakes for breakfast and a walk to the local playground with all the kids. Surprisingly everyone was feeling ok, there was just a general lack of sleep - a sad fact the we parents are definitely not use to seeing midnight anymore. The kids were on good form though, having slept pretty well over night, despite the excitement of the sleepover.

In the afternoon, once everyone had gone home, S2 and CJ did some very overdue work in the garden. CJ was very proud of getting dirt on his his gumboots and helped by pulling out the weeds and overgrown radishes!

He just loved spending time with his dad!
