Snow Scooter

Go Outdoors in Derby had a pile of these. Not much chance of them being used under present weather conditions, but things may change. Colder weather is, apparently, encroaching, and there may be some snow by the end of next week.

In which case, all sorts of kids, big and small, could have fun with these.

Basil and I had gone all the way to the store in Derby to pick up a trigger lock walking pole for my expedition next week.

Out in the car park, we spotted an mangey looking urban fox loping along the railings. It saw us and slunk through to the other side.

Basil, alerted, had a good sniff. If my camera had been round my neck rather than in my bag, I might have got a shot of it.
