Summer Strawberry
Winter and yet the strawberries have continued to produce fruit all through the year.
This morning moved from rain to sunshine and there was hope of a fine day. On the menu was digging a damp diversity ditch and it couldn't have turned out any damper. Trying to dig in clay soil in the pouring rain proved to be extremely difficult. In fact just trying to get the soil off the spade was near impossible. After a good soaking it was difficult to see what progress had been made hopefully the weather will fair better for our next excursion.
By the evening the sky's had cleared and running along the streets with a starlit sky was really stunning. That's the first marker passed 21km only 979 to go!
