Old friends at home

A long drive into Sussex brought me to this home of an old friend. Small cottage homes round a courtyard create a homely but safe environment. Inside, the dwellings are really well appointed. My friend moved from a large rambling house and instantly felt she had made a good move.
Today this regular lunch group put the world to rights, and also the WI as we have all in the past played significant roles in the organisation. That is what brings us together every month or so.
A brighter day today, but a lot of water about and the River Mole was over into its flood plain.
