Having fun

This Black-headed gull was enjoying itself swooping around the rear of the boat while we were on a Bird watching trip up the River Exe.  We had a good morning despite the cold and I even managed to get some photos of Avocets having failed when we did this trip last year.  See extra photos for Avocets, a Goldeneye that was circling the boat and a view of Topsham from the river.  

Birds also seen were  Widgeon, Shags, Cormorants, Curlew, Oystercatcher, Brent Geese, Godwit, Redshank, Greenshank and Turnstone.
