3 Bob Challenge: Alphabet: A: Awful weather

A day of missed blip opportunities. And rain.

I took the dogs up the hill this morning. It was dark and it was raining but I was hopeful, the forecast was for dry weather later.

I set out to Stromness to see George, Debby and the herd. It's been a while and I have missed them all. Debby set about trimming hooves whilst I did a bit of grooming. The rain continued. We got out a ride on Djego (The 'A'rab - Missed opportunity #1), Maggie and Willie, Rosie being led from Djego. Willie bought a warm glow to my heart in the cold lashing rain.

Home and changed into dry waterproofs for an afternoon walk with the dogs at the stones. In the rain. Decided to leave the camera in the car as it was too wet out. Finished the walk passing through the stones. Eureka! 'A'ncient!!! (#2) Thought about getting my phone camera out and decided it was too cold and too wet to take hands from pockets. Back at the car, my windscreen summed it all up. A day of 'A'wful weather.

Home again and stood under the nicer, warmer rain of the shower.

Looking forward to an evening home with My Love, a bottle of red and a film. No rain.
