Damp

Rosie and I managed to find a gap in the sunshine today for our walk, it didn't actually rain but was all grey (and muddy, obv). Quite clear though, past the pier you can see Brighton.

Having had a dry November with the exception of two birthday celebrations, I had no interest in dry January but was keen to tend towards the lower end of the alcohol scale. I hadn't factored in the misery of work after Christmas though so tonight I have a glass of wine. Apparently this is Damp January! This pleases me a lot.

And now it's the weekend followed by Monday where I shall go to the office and get all fired up, inspired and motivated. All up, up, up!
