Lines

I've signed up for an online photography course - along with a fair few other Blippers I think! - and for this week's introduction we had to think of a theme  to photograph throughout the year. After my usual panic and faff and inability to choose a theme I've gone for lines. I think that will be flexible enough to let me still photograph pretty much whatever I want!
I surpassed myself in the uselessness department this morning. Last night I put all the Little Misses' uniform and PE kit in the wash and then completely forgot about it.
I left my phone in the car overnight so there was no alarm and we didn't wake up until 7.30am. I asked Mr K had he hung out the washing last night? Nope.
Oh my God!
I leapt out of bed and hysterically started hanging things on radiators. Not the most relaxing start to the day.
Luckily the shirts, tunics and skirts come out of the machine practically dry (quality natural fibres!!) but the PE socks and tights were more problematic.
We have extra skirts and dresses but we seem to have got down to just two pairs of tights. How did that happen?!!
The Little Misses got dressed in what they could, I packed their bags, did their hair and they cleaned their teeth.
Then we waited.
We normally leave at 8.30am. I left it as late as I could but by 8.40am they had to put on their almost dry tights and jump into the car.
Once I'd dropped them off I went to the school uniform shop and bought more tights.
Lovely Facebook chat, a bit of washing up, some laundry sorting, cooking a huge vat of butternut squash and chilli soup, a bit of online research and a trip to the shop to swap my Christmas cards for Spring ones and it was time to go back to school.
Where does the time go?!!
