MOTHER AND BABY.
Well no rain, but all the wet roads and pavements had frozen so it was like an ice rink. Waited to go my walk until 10.00am but it was still frozen so had to walk very carefully, definitely not enjoyable. Tidied up the paths in the garden, did the weeks shopping, then took a quick trip to the loch without the dogs to see if I could get a blip. I was so lucky as on the loch there were two Whooper swans, a mother and her cygnet. When I looked it up it says they rarely breed here but in the Artic Regions, from Iceland, through Northern Europe and Siberia. So thought it was a worthwhile blip. Hope you like them.
It has not thawed all day here and is really cold, would not mind the cold if only the sun would appear.
