Gordale Scar

Had to go back to Malham to drop of some things at the visitor centre. Not surprisingly the talk was of the impressive water falls. Having blipped Janet's foss on Sunday I wandered up to Gordale Scar. The waterfall certainly was impressive with huge volumes of water coming through "the cave". I only had my wife's G11 with me and I struggled to get a decent shot from floor level. It certainly was not the day to climb the waterfall! On the way back there was a couple of intrepid walkers and campers! I thought changing the picture to sepia summed up the mood of the scene today
