The Boss' funeral today.

140 people turned up........the service was beautifully conducted by Helen's step sister Mary.......my brave Daughter, Rachel, read a Bible passage so well.......Helen's brother Rob likewise with a poem.............the music raised tears and smiles (Learning to Fly:Tom Petty:.....Chain Reaction;Diana Ross.....Song 2 Blur)..................I managed to get through a  semi decent tribute to the love of my life.

There were school friends, college friends, work colleagues, colleagues from my work, members of the rounders team, hockey coaches, fishing buddies, friends of the Daughter, friends of the Son and Heir, quiz team members......friends.and of course family.............THANK YOU ALL......I needed all of your strength to make it through.

The Black Bull did us proud for the wake..........thank you Chris and Christine......and your staff......and Jayne for volunteering as an extra waitress.

The flowers are going to the Hospice to brighten up working and visitors areas.............and the donations came to over £800.........that will be winging its way to the Hospice asap.
