Beverley Minster

This great Minster church was constructed
between 1220 and 1420 and owes its
existence to St John of Beverley and is
dedicated to St,John the Evangelist and
St Martin of Tours. The ground floor of
the Minster in the shape of a cross
reminds us of the sacrifice of love which
inspired this magnificent expression of
thanks.
