Naming da Galley

A breezy day, with plenty of cold wintery showers. 

I've had the day off today, and thankfully as I've still not been feeling well.  I am starting to come at and hopefully be fine for work tomorrow.  It's been another lazy day with the telly.  With the wet day, Sammy has been stuck inside for the most of it too.  Mam popped by in the afternoon and she's also dosed up with the horrible cold.  Made her a cuppa and a catch up.  The Scalloway Fire Festival starts tomorrow and I popped down for the galley naming, for a few photos :)

Scalloway is getting excited and ready for the Fire Festival tomorrow.  A good turn out for the naming of the galley.  This year's Guizer Jarl is Bryan Garrick from Tingwall, snapped here with the Fair Isle gansey on.  Hope he has a great day tomorrow and weekend ahead.  Taken in the Scalloway Fire Festival galley shed, Main Street, Scalloway.
