Held up
A day in which little was done, yet much doing seemed to happen. An analogy for that is that although I was out and about, and I had the Nikon with me, I had taken no photograph by the time I was about to serve our dinner.
I had hopes of a dramatic sunset, and so it proved during the ten to fifteen minutes before the sun disappeared behind the Waitakeres.
The crane is still being used on The Dylan, a new apartment building further west along the Grey Lynn ridge. With the broad beams of light from the disc of the sun heading upwards through clouds to the blue sky above, it appears as though the crane is holding the sun back from setting behind the Waitakeres.
