Unwelcome visitor

A quiet day today, picked up my hedgetrimmer from the repair shop,the carburetor had a blocked jet, priced new fire bricks for our wood burner
 ( WOW)  or should I say ouch.and  Bought a Knapsack weed sprayer. Come home and finished off the hedge and now it looks much better.
This is a Common Wasp (Vespula Vulgaris) that was in the Lavender amongst the Honey Bees and Bumble Bees. After I shot images of it I made sure it did not have a chance to come back Black Flag is good at getting rid of unwanted guests including White tail Spiders.
