Coming to the end of my mom's month-long stay with us: she's off back to France tomorrow. She'll be thoroughly missed...

We caught a last lunch with the kids today -- a fun affair with several teary goodbyes -- and did a quick walk around in blistering cold temps downtown. Suitcases are packed, just short of the their max weight, boarding passes printed and passport in the side pocket of the carry on.
