I always think the Tufted Titmouse looks like it has had hair and make-up done.  Such a sweet little bird. 

Mono-Monday  week #102
There were over 130 wonderful entries for Mono-Monday and so I have had a very hard time choosing.  There were lots of interesting takes on the theme “Beginning” including eggs, breakfasts, and morning commutes. Some blippers are starting new exercise and diet programs.  Flowers bloomed,  new books and journals were started, the book of Genesis was revisited, and several new puppies and gorgeous kids were featured. Several images even cleverly recognized new beginnings in music history.  Thank you all for joining in. 

Choosing my favorites is, of course, very subjective but I did try to bring some objectivity to it by looking for the things that make B&W photography special i.e. tonal contrast, shape, form, and texture.
