Sunshine on birds

We went out at lunchtime to get some mince for the Shepherds Pie I was making for tonights dinner and took a look at Udale bay to see what birds were around. The sun was out and caught the white side of the birds flying up as the tide came in. I think it was a huge flock of Knot. Lots of wigeon around too, apparently there's an American Wigeon among them some where identified by a white forehead.
On the way we saw a farmer and his dogs bringing in some sheep.
Great light on The Plough Pub in Rosemarkie too :)
