Afternoon snack.

Back up to the maternity assessment unit at the hospital for another check on my blood pressure (higher today) and have all the pre-eclampsia checks done again (all clear).

A doctor came by to attempt another membrane sweep after Monday's attempt was not successful... without going into too much detail, let's just say that my cervix was in a more receptive position and OUCH!

My next appointment (if nothing happens in between) is on Friday with a consultant in the antenatal clinic.

I was in need of Maltesers this afternoon to accompany a mug of strong raspberry leaf tea (supposed to help with moving things along) and I think a warm bath is in order for this evening.
