Charles Darwin, and Robert Falcon Scott
These two figurines stand in Plymouth. Rather lovely cut out versions of them I think.
The first is Robert Falcon Scott, (Scott of the Antarctic) who was born in Plymouth on June 6th 1868, and Royal Naval Officer and Explorer, and the second is Charles Darwin, naturalist and Geologist, who was born 12th February 1809, and who sailed from Plymouth for the Voyage of the Beagle in 1831.
