Fungus
It is a fungus growing on the end of a tree stump, but it could be any number of other things - it does look a lot like tripe for example.
So, after another rubbish night trying to sleep - went to bed shortly after 10, was asleep for nealry an hour and then awake until 3:30 and then a pattern of doze 30, wake 15, until it wasn't worth it anymore - it was a largely unproduktive day.
Unless you include my 2 hour German lesson and then food shopping. They were both pretty produktive.
Your German learning Faktoid for today - the Alphabet in German is pronounced exactly the same for Capital letters and for small. There is no difference in how you pronounce, for example, C & c (both pronounced "Say" in German) but in English C is spoken like "Sea" (or "see") but c is either "s" (as in circus) or "k" (as in colour). I think only the last 4 letters of the English alphabet are pronounced exactly the same in both cases.
Might not mean much but it got me wondering why.
Is there a Paleolinguist in the house? Or do I need a Philologist?
