Another Damp Day

This morning I had three cats to deal with; they were hunkered down in the airing cupboard - and who can blame them ?  Today is sponsored by the local Law Practice: Damp, Damp and Damper.  The waves are piling in again from the south east and it’s meant to ‘really pick up’ overnight to 60 mph again although CMC hasn’t given me an amber warning.     Like the clarion call of a bugle in John Wayne’s lips CMC returned today with a  full debriefing of the Hoy news.  This also included how the two lots of Thomsons that were in Rackwick are related - this because CMC’s Great Grandfather and Nora’s Grandfather are first cousins.  So you can all rest easy in your beds tonight (except the good folk of Carnoustie).

My first is in Toblerone and my second is in Shirley Abicair.  What am I ?  NB: SDB is barred from this competition.  No minors also; and pets and Latvians born on the 3rd of March (obviously).  And absolutely no salesmen who have ever met Alan Titchmarsh.  (Who is banned from the Beechgrove).  To be discontinued.

The following is for the eyes of ‘Geography Head’ of Northampton only:  from this spot in Orkney the sea is not possible.
