A little trip

It's been an eventful morning so far.

I couldn't sleep, so thought I'd get into work early. Unfortunately, as I crossed the tram tracks in the middle of the road, I tripped in the grooves and went flying across the road. Luckily,  I picked myself up quickly because a lorry was coming up the road.

I managed to hold myself together until I made it in to work, then I shot into the loo and 'broke my heart' with shock and embarrassment.

Both my palms are grazed, as are my knee and one elbow. Both my wrists and my right shoulder feel jarred. The worst injury is my right elbow and arm, which is swollen and sore. I'll see how my arm is later before deciding if to get it looked at.

It could have been much worse if the lorry had been closer!
