Worship Practice

The Lord says: “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught.
Isaiah 29:13

Today's picture is after the worship practice that we had this evening. It was a good practice. This verse is interesting, to me it speaks of aligning your heart with what you say or sing in worship. Worship should be an opportunity for your soul to reach out to God, it is not about what you have learnt. You don't need a high level of education to worship God, or to have been to Bible college or studied theology or anything like that. It is about your relationship with God, is as simple as that.
