Fire leftovers

Above the quarry looks brown now but used to be green with pine trees, The Waldo Canyon fire several years ago raced down the slope destroying over 400 homes. It will take at least twenty years to restore the ecology. The fire was human caused, hopefully by accident but no one is sure
