aviation fumes!

After a very eventful flight and for non FB blip friends this is what happened on our flight from Singapore to LHR:


We returned to stand after 45mins of sitting on the runway whilst BA re counted bags.  Back at the stand they re counted the bags.   I was a tad distressed over this announcement from the captain, no one wants to hear about a bag they have no idea about considering the current climate.  After a while cabin services call us.....we have three checked in bags, can we confirm this....their records from Qantas (our previous connecting flight) only show 1 bag.....BA counted 3 which is correct....turns out our bags were the reason for the delay 2.5hr!!


We landed at LHR after a very boring 14hrs (i did sleep for 5 of those hours) and then waited far too long for the bags (at least we knew our bags were on the flight!).  


Our girls aka Tess and Mills were happy to see us and have been very affectionate all day.  I made soup for lunch and I have even cooked a roast chicken dinner tonight....I must be running on aviation fuel!


Waiting for me today - my full frame camera body......I'm super excited about it.  It has a WIFI function....oh and lots of other wonderful things to it.....wonder if it makes tea?!
