Steps and Doors

On my route back home from HB today I paid particular attention to these old cottages.     You can see how worn the steps are - and a bit green in parts - and I think the doors set into the wall below were probably outdoor toilets and/or coal cellars.    Not used as such nowadays but handy for storage.
