Thanks Dr Beeching!
Off to cook dinner at Jimmy's, this was the misty scene at Ely Station. Remember Dr Beeching who closed much of the driving railways network in the 60s? Well one thing he did do that was positive was pretty much invent the container for freight transport around 1965, it revolutionised the movement of goods and made rail freight viable again as it is easy to transfer goods between rail, road and sea easily. So hence my shot of such a train.
