Witch Hazel

We managed a short walk up the hill this afternoon.  The rain had stopped and there seemed to be a bit more light and it felt really good to be out.  The shorter circular walks around here all involve field footpaths which are absolutely clarted up with mud and puddles, so we stuck to the road.  

The witch hazel is growing in a sheltered garden at the top of Pule Hill.

Penistone this morning with some things to drop off in the Hospice shop, a blood test at the Doctors and followed by a visit to the supermarket to restock.
