Would You Adam & Eve It?

The message still hasn't got through to idiot drivers, who think they can ignore Police warning signs!  This was the second lorry to attempt to cross the flooded road (which has even featured on the National TV News).

The first one gave up after a few hundred metres, but this one kept coming until he finally spotted the half-submerged car and only then decided he'd better reverse.  Not easy to reverse a big lorry over a humpback bridge and we were concerned for the safety of the bridge, but fortunately he appeared to make it back successfully.

Very tempted to send this photo and others (which show his numberplate) to the Police, but think he got a big enough fright:-)

As this is 12th Night, I took all the Christmas decorations down this morning and the extra is of the tree looking very forlorn outside:-)
