A Pierences are Everything
Another fun day which started out with breakfast in a wonderful cafe that has been operating for 100 years.
The Hopetoun Tea Rooms were wonderful and The Boss has embargoed any information on what he had to eat but it was delicious.
We followed this with an art experience where Andy Warhol and Ai Weiwei were featured at the National Gallery of Victoria. I missed this bit as I was “Cloaked” . This is what the Bloke at the door said as we entered. “You will need to cloak the backpack” Apparently this was not the stealth operation that I was hoping for but a spell on a shelf instead. Small stuffed dogs attached to back packs were not allowed. Possible as they may have more attraction than the art???
The exhibition as reported by The Boss was very enjoyable and was photographable too. The artists were from different parts of the world but shared many things including the love of cats. I am glad I missed that bit.
Then on a tram to St Kilda and to the heart of todays story.
It appears (well it did appear) that getting your wedding photographs on The St Kilda pier is the current fashionable thing to do so The Bossess got this grrreat shot capturing the action which The Boss thought was certainly different and was hoping for additional action when the bride host her grip on the pier structure and fell in the sea. He was disappointed when she didn’t.
He was consoled with Champagne battered fish and chips in the pier cafe and announced that it was the best F&C he had had for a long time.
We remembered St Kilda from previous trips but thought it needed a little lie down but this is often the nature of sea side places.
Iphone 6S from The Bossess.
