Pigeon Feathers

     As I walked back into the yard this afternoon I saw the scattered white all covering a corner nest to the garden.  There have been feathers scattered about the lawn before when a hawk or falcon had taken one of the local pigeons and I wasn't looking forward to cleaning up the mess so the dog would not get into it.
     When I went over to look for the worst of the problem I realized that it was just a few bits of snow. 
      First snow of the season!
