Tomme de Savoie
Now this is my kind of cheese! From the Savoie region, in the French Alps to the east of the country, it is made from the milk left over from making cream. Consequently it has a low fat content. But that does not mean it is tasteless, far from it. Although it is mild it does have a distinct taste, that the makers of the cheese say some from the rich and diverse flora of the mountains.
