A Talk
After work today I headed off to yoga with the wonderful Christine! I knew it would be my type of class today as it was very humid....Christine always does a slow, relaxed class when it's like that. Amazingly relaxing and enjoyable.
Unfortunately, it over-ran by 5 mins so I missed my train. Fortunately, The Manchester Art Gallery is open until 9pm on a Thursday so I went there. There was a talk on by a Nigerian writer so I thought that may be interesting. He may have been a renowned writer with an expansive lexicon. However, he spoke in an accent of the type that would have merited subtitles on the TV and he was as quiet as a mouse. Not ideal for a talk in an expansive gallery. Well before the end, I crept out loudly, squeaking the door just before it slammed behind me.
My blip perfectly presented itself today. The gallery curator in a b&w dress with a b&w background, nicely framed. The light was poor though so I compensated with a narrow depth of field! Result......face out of focus! Unfortunately, I didn't have an alternative! Lesson learnt.....and a creative use of curves!
