Cumbrian pastoral

After yesterday's impassioned blip moment it was down to earth with a thud, and work. I feel that we are probably all preaching to the converted now and need to 'pull something out the bag' if we can. I agree with kendall, our attachment causes suffering but I'm pretty sick of grief and would like this to last longer. I think it offers such a lot and that its potential to enrich lives is tremendous.
Fergus understands and writes about it much better here.

I took this on my way out to High Hesket today. I wished I had a super-duper sheepdog that could have rounded up these sheep into a 'save blip' image ... I can't do the photo manipulation stuff. I also half expected a teletubby to appear over the crest of the hill. I frequently talk to rurally and socially isolated folk and have often suggested blip as one small outlet and opportunity for connection and creativity and feel there is so much scope for this here.
