Finally on Eigg

Today - Fort William to Mallaig by car, Mallaig to Eigg by ferry, then a bit of a walk to the hostel! It was great finally getting to the island after a lot of worry about cancelled ferries the previous week. It was delayed by a couple of hours but that just meant a bit of a lie in! 

After getting settled in at the hostel, most of us decided to head out for a short walk around the forest before dark. The start was horrible with heavy rain, but it eventually cleared up for amazing views and a wonderful sunset. Once back at the hostel we prepared a group meal, read books, played games, and asked each other more details about what we've been up to lately. It's great to see everyone again :)
