last day of the holiday (though many were back having been off between Christmas a New Year) and it stated wet and windy - again.
Got done some of the jobs put off due to the cold, bought some supplies and on the way home noticed the state of the ponds so returned on foot with the camera.
The rain had eased off but not in time to stop the ponds overflowing the path and into the burn, so we now have the Dighty Falls. I've only seen this happen once before, December 23rd 2012, when a house was flooded as well from the water running off the ponds, work seems to have succeeded in causing the overflow to drain back into the burn downstream.
Went running with the ladies' group this evening, almost dry and not too windy, bit slow but good to be out.
