(Almost) Routine

The first day of term three but with no students until tomorrow, things weren't quite so pressured. Some attempt was made to win hearts and minds for the first session and not too much being talked at made for a less frustrating day than this time last year but it will be good to get started properly tomorrow rather than treading water as we have done today. 

Bailey doesn't seem too traumatised by his return to a term time routine. Perhaps because he was apparently visited by his favourite as well as the official Bailey-sitter this afternoon. And I wasn't home too late either. He has been good fun playing with some of his new toys and running the full length of the hall like a demented thing when we came in from a walk. He is now laid out asleep whilst I blip. Normal service has been resumed.
