A splash of red!

I'm not going to mention the weather today except to say that I have run out of coat hangers for wet jackets and the radiators are covered with wet hats and gloves!

An incredibly dull day when the sea and sky merged into a solid streak of grey only to be broken by the white horses on the tops of the thunderous waves.

On our return from St Andrews L and I stopped in Elie. I wanted a message from the local deli .... L stayed in the car listening to the Archers while I braved the wind. It was worth the buffeting to see these wonderful red skimmia berries in an Elie garden.
