Frankie's Devastation!!

Headed up to Ballater for the weekend to spend with some good friends. Where we stayed was just outside (walking distance) the towns centre and whilst out for a wee gentle stroll, we were able to witness the devastation that Storm Frank has caused to this beautiful highland town.

Many houses were flooded and the local golf course which at this point was behind me had virtually been washed away!!

However to see the caravan park,  that I pictured here, totally destroyed was a sight to behold...!

My heart went out to the owners, not only of the site , but of the caravans as well.

Hopefully they all will be able to recover from this...only time will tell
