Maol Chean-dearg
Hillwalking again today and another 4 hour drive north to our starting point at Coulags.
It was forecast to be windy but was OK as we started our walk up the Glen.
We passed a very nice bothy and the old stone of Clach nan Con-Fionn which was where Celtic folk hero Fionn McCuill is said to have tied up his hounds.
After a 2.5 hour walk we hit the high bealach but we were unable to even stand up as the wind was horrendous.
After about 15 mins of struggling we had to admit defeat and returned to the car with our tail between our legs and head home.
Next time!
