The weather has been much kinder today and so we were able to do walks at Rydal, Coniston and Tarn Hows today.  The evidence of the recent floods is all around:  all the waters/meres/lakes are ringed with wrack lines of washed up detritus.  Sometimes the arrangements can look quite elegant...
