Rydal Cave

Despite the weather prognosis not being brilliant we decided to head just up the road to Rydal to walk up to the cave down the side of the lake and back again, all was excellent and not a drop of rain. 

Heartened we headed over to Coniston where there was a deliciously photographic line of light on the horizon and a gorgeously calm lake. After a spot of lunch and a quick visit to the Coniston brewery we then headed up to Tarn Hows and completed a lap of the lake there still without any rain so it has to be said the best weather report today was to use your eyes.

I am now looking forward to processing some of today's stuff when I get home because as ever whilst away I am using a laptop with rubbish colour and a tiny screen so I don't really even know what they really look like!
