New Years Eve Shenanigans

After sitting at the kitchen table till rather late the night before it was another lazy start to the day. We headed out to explore some more but super strong winds made it hard going, and we stayed away from the cliff edges! Then it was time to get togged up in our fancy dress and head to the pub. A fun night of silliness then it was outside at midnight to watch the fireworks going off all along the coast of the mainland. It was the most amazing cloudless sky and the full moon and stars with no light pollution were spectacular. We finished up the night with tea and scones in deck chairs on the front lawn looking out across the moonlit waters. A perfect way to see out the old and in the new.
