Pacific Ocean!

Sadly we have come to the end of our South Island part of our trip. We reluctantly relinquished Bessy (named by The Sister) yesterday and today got on the Kiwirail train from Christchurch to Picton. 
This country just keeps giving glorious scenery and these pictures were my first glimpses of the Pacific! We had travelled through wonderful countryside, often with mountains in the background, and then there was the ocean!
Next chapter-a ferry ride to Wellington then a tour of the North Island!
